Size Measuring Guide
A perfect fit for your ultra-marathon running shoes is important for comfort and performance. Follow these tips to measure your foot size at home:
General Tips:
- Measure your feet at the end of the day as they're at their largest due to swelling.
- In between sizes? One foot is bigger than the other? Take the larger size.
- It's best to measure every year. Your size could change over time.
What You'll Need:
- A piece of paper larger than your foot,
- A pen or pencil,
- A ruler or measuring tape,
- Socks of the thickness you'll wear with the shoes.
Steps:
- Stand on the paper in the socks you'll wear with the shoes.
- Use the pen or pencil to mark the end of your longest toe and the back of your heel. It's important to measure both feet as their size can vary.
- Match your measurements to our size chart to find the best fit. If you're between sizes, we suggest choosing the larger size for better comfort.

In 2025, Manu Vilaseca broke the women's record for the Triple Crown of American 200s by over 29 hours, wearing early prototypes of the Mount to Coast M1. "Stability is what makes you go faster when things get complicated," she says, "and the M1 had that right away."
Featured
By applying a state-of-the-art supercritical foaming process to automotive-grade materials, we engineered JETCELL. The resulting midsole delivers our highest-ever energy return while boasting consistent performance and twice the structural strength of standard PEBA foams, resisting tearing and degradation from the first mile to the last.
The M1 upper is made with TPEE-blended yarns that provide the robustness and stability you need for the longest, roughest races, while drying fast and offering excellent breathability. We know feet change shape over extreme distances, so our TUNEDFIT Dual Lacing System offers independent, customizable fit for the forefoot and midfoot, and a reinforced toe box protects your feet when fatigue sets in.
The M1’s outsole features a trio of Vibram innovations: full-coverage Megagrip rubber for tenacious traction in any conditions, Litebase for 30 percent less weight without compromising performance, and Traction Lug micro-features for up to 25 percent more grip.

Great outsole and bouncy midsole. Smallish fit, would recommend going up a half size from H1 if you have that one, but still feels Great to run gravel roads and such in them.
Hola.
Holy mother of shoes ! These are a true blessing ! My quest for the perfect trail show is finally over. I am not a runner but a seasoned thru-hiker and these are exactly what i was looking for. I am usually size 10 US border 9.5 so the M1 in 10 are a perfect fit for me. I could not be happier. The JetFoam is epic and breathabilty at it's best. I will probably get more in the futur. I'm in love with these shoes !
I put the Mount to Coast M1 through a pretty decent test — taking them up Snowdon / Yr Wyddfa, the highest mountain in Wales, on a very wet morning.
The conditions were far from ideal, with loose slate, wet rocks and plenty of slippery sections, but the M1s handled it brilliantly. The grip across the loose slate and wet stones was seriously impressive, and on the way back down I was able to go full send with confidence.
What really stood out for me was the stability and comfort. Even on uneven terrain, they felt incredibly planted underfoot, giving me plenty of confidence when things got sketchy.
I also absolutely love the stack height — it gives you that lovely cushioned feel without making the shoe feel unstable.
And finally… that colorway Glacier
I genuinely couldn’t have chosen a better one.
Wet mountain. Loose slate. Slippery rocks. Full send downhill. The M1 passed the test.
The Mount to Coast M1 has one of the best midsoles I've run on in a trail shoe, and what stands out is how reactive it stays even when the ground gets complicated. The Vibram outsole backs it up with exceptional grip, and the fit is toe-friendly, with real room up front. The upper is breathable and never runs hot, and the fabric is soft enough that it doesn't chafe or dig in anywhere; it feels closer to a road shoe upper than a typical trail one. My only complaint is the lacing, which I had to learn to use. What finally worked was pulling the upper laces down so they start where the lower ones, the pair nearest the toe, finish. Once I did that the shoe stopped rotating on my foot and felt much more secure on technical ground. Stability is very good throughout. On gravel you can run as fast as your legs will let you, and you can still move quickly through forest and more technical terrain. It climbs easily and descends fast as long as it's properly locked to the foot. It works both as a daily trainer and as a race shoe. I also run in the Prodigio Pro and the Tecton X3, and to me the M1 is the better shoe.
The M1 is exactly what I have been waiting for
The cushion is these is superb the grip for muddy and technical terrain is amazing
Great work Mount To Coast team. 👏
I now have 4 pairs for all various surfaces.
What a brand 👌
Las he utilizado unos 30 km. Son espectaculares, cómodas y reactivas a velocidad media.
Ultimate comfort straight out of the box. I took the Mount to Coast M1 straight into an 18-mile run across mixed Scottish terrain with some road thrown in, and they felt excellent throughout. The cushioning is soft, springy and forgiving, and they just seem built for long-distance miles. I’m still not completely sold on them for really technical ground, but for ultras and long days out, they feel like a very strong option. I’ll be wearing them for my next 70 km ultra.
I love the shoes when I run off road! They are great for speed and grip at the same time! This is my second model in the Mount to Coast line up and it is working so well for me! On my left foot I notice that the logo print on the outside is pressing against my foot more than I would want for longer distances... Don't know if it is just the design or it is a production error.
