Size Measuring Guide
A perfect fit for your ultra-marathon running shoes is important for comfort and performance. Follow these tips to measure your foot size at home:
General Tips:
- Measure your feet at the end of the day as they're at their largest due to swelling.
- In between sizes? One foot is bigger than the other? Take the larger size.
- It's best to measure every year. Your size could change over time.
What You'll Need:
- A piece of paper larger than your foot,
- A pen or pencil,
- A ruler or measuring tape,
- Socks of the thickness you'll wear with the shoes.
Steps:
- Stand on the paper in the socks you'll wear with the shoes.
- Use the pen or pencil to mark the end of your longest toe and the back of your heel. It's important to measure both feet as their size can vary.
- Match your measurements to our size chart to find the best fit. If you're between sizes, we suggest choosing the larger size for better comfort.

I'm a 183cm/75 kg fore/mid foot striker running mainly 100-120K long mountain trails and purchased these shoes as a candidate for those long runs, as this is trademark of Mount to Coast, and well, there are things that really impressed me and others that could be improved in order to bring this shoe really to the champions league of long distance trail shoes.
Have tested these on three 10 milers so far: 1 on flat terrain, half road, half dirt path, 1 on technical steep climbs and downhills in the French Sea Alps and 1 on a hilly single track.
The pros: hyper lightweight, very agile on steep climbs and downhills, especially this decent bounciness in the forefoot on steep climbs is really cool, very comfy with this lightweight foam under the foot and yet lot's of ground feel, an amazing lacing system for the forefoot that can be adjusted as needed. Also the materials, the breathable upper and the grippy outsole are really great.
The cons: especially the rocker is too neutral for my running style which makes this shoe feel quite clumsy on runnable stuff or flat terrain, as it doesn't give me any support in rolling my feet forward and therefore I've to push with my calfs and harmstrings more than expected on long easy descents, had the feeling that I had to battle this shoe in order to get it rolling smoothly with my midfoot - and that's basically the main point: this shoe isn't as economical as it should be to be a real option for a 120K trail run. With a little more bit more inclination in the rocker that would change completely the long distance capability of this shoe.
I see it more as a serious candidate for a 50K mountain race in the Alps (like the UTCAM) for the time being.
None the less, I'd certainly check out a possible T2 with pleasure and added these T1 so far into my rotation for easy runs in the mountains.
Love this trail shoe. Loads of grip & great fit inspire confidence Highly recommend
